Safety Tips
Your safety matters to us. Here's how to stay safe while using FindPulse.
Protecting Your Identity Online
Don't share personal information too quickly. Avoid giving out your full name, phone number, home address, workplace, or school in anonymous chats.
Use the identity reveal feature thoughtfully. Only use it when you genuinely feel comfortable and trust the other person.
Be cautious with social media handles. They can reveal a lot about your real life. Consider whether you're ready for that level of openness.
Trust your instincts. If something feels off — if someone is pushing boundaries or making you uncomfortable — trust your gut.
Recognizing Red Flags
Watch out for these warning signs:
Immediately pressures you to share personal details or move to another platform
Aggressive, manipulative, or threatening language of any kind
Requests for money, financial information, or login credentials
Stories designed to manipulate your emotions or gain sympathy quickly
Discourages you from using the app's safety features like reporting
Meeting in Person Safely
Public place

Own transportation
Drive yourself, take public transit, or use a rideshare. Avoid getting into the other person's car.
Stay alert
Keep a clear head during your first few meetings. Watch your drinks and be aware of your surroundings.

A Note on Mental Health
Meeting new people can be exciting, but it can also be stressful. Take breaks when you need them. Not every conversation will lead to a connection, and that's perfectly okay.
